Pawlova began with soaked floors, tired hands and one stubborn question: why did bathing a dog have to be this difficult?

Before Pawlova, our founder ran a small pet grooming shop. Bathing large dogs such as Golden Retrievers and Huskies meant water everywhere, slippery floors, scratched arms and aching backs. Three full-time bathers were needed to keep up. Water bills climbed, and the available pet shower tools still delivered weak pressure, loud noise and hoses that leaked or burst.
The first breakthrough
An ugly prototype that finally worked
One frustrating evening, spare parts from around the grooming shop became the first handmade prototype. It was bulky and far from beautiful, but it changed the work immediately.
Bath time was cut nearly in half. The floor stayed drier. Less water was wasted. Staff could work with more control, and the dogs were noticeably calmer.
It looked terrible, but for the first time, bath time felt manageable.
Two years of refinement
From commercial machine to home essential
The next two years were spent solving one problem at a time: a high-density filter to catch loose fur, an IPX8 waterproof button, a safer 15V low-voltage motor and a reinforced anti-burst hose.
The system worked, but the commercial prototype was still too large for an ordinary bathroom. So it was redesigned again—slimmed down to 80 × 80 × 210 mm, about the size of a water bottle, and light enough to control with one hand.
